Soledad in 5 Years

The City's population is expected to grow by at least 50%, with approximately another 1,000+ homes built. The Soledad Mission Shopping Center will be completed and fully occupied with productive tenants providing needed retail services to the residents of the community. The Los Coches Industrial Park will be completed with vibrant light/heavy industrial businesses operating, with some commercial establishments located next to the Shopping Center. The Downtown revitalization project will have been completed with new Front Street facade and design work, paving, sidewalk expansions and bulb-outs, landscaping, median improvements, parking, trees, furniture, lighting, city plaza and intermodal center and retail opportunities. The older sections of the City will be fully lighted and landscaped and many new recreational opportunities will exist with the additional parks that will be built. The City will have a high quality of life and continue to hold many activities and events for the general public to enjoy. The City will continue to be one of the safest communities in the County.
