The City of Soledad Fire Department provides first response to EMS incidents with  highly qualified first-responders trained to the Emergency Medical Technician and Monterey County First Responder level. Fire personnel responding to an Emergency Medical Services throughout the jurisdiction operate within the guidelines set forth by the Monterey County Emergency Services Agency.
