Fire Services and Prevention

The Soledad Fire Department strives for a pro-active approach to Fire Prevention. Fire Personnel participates with the Nationally recognized Fire Prevention Week in schools each year, with the Fire Safety Message reaching well over 2000 children in our communities' schools and day care facilities.

Other Prevention Programs include annual Company Fire Inspections, semi-annual Hydrant Maintenance Inspections, an annual Weed Abatement Program and Pre-Fire Planning of target hazards within the jurisdiction.
