Recreation Programs

Soledad Community Center
Aside from the parks, the City owns the Soledad Community Center, which is contract operated by the South County YMCA.  

The South County YMCA provides Soledad with a variety of recreation options including group exercise classes, youth sports, child care, day camps, school break camps, youth programs, teen programs, a weight room, indoor basketball and other seasonal recreation options. 

Soledad-Mission Recreation District
Adjacent to the Community Center is the Soledad Swimming Pool and Rotary Park, owned and operated by the Soledad-Mission Recreation District

Soledad Swimming Pool 
The Soledad Mission Recreation District also provides recreation programs to our Community including a swim team, swimming lessons, water aerobics, lifeguard training, girl's softball, adult co-ed softball, junior tennis, 5k/10k runs, day camps, day trips and movies in the park.

Other Recreation Programs
Other recreation programs in Soledad include Soledad Little League, Soledad Pony Baseball, Soledad Junior Soccer League, South County Soccer League and Soledad Warriors Football.

Pinnacles National Monument
In addition to the City's Park Facilities, which are designed to primarily serve the citizens of Soledad, a regional recreational area is located nearby. The west entrance of Pinnacles National Monument is accessed from US 101 via State Highway 146 (Metz Road), which passes directly through Soledad. This park primarily serves visitors/tourists and is a popular destination for hikers and rock climbers.
